Continuing to deliver sounds from the void, XVI Records are proud to present ‘French Jazz’ the new single from Bristolian rapper Mushkilla. Originally turning heads with his knack for rhyming on UKG dubs, Mush then began to diversify his sonic offerings, as demonstrated on his newest ‘Not Another Garage MC’ EP. Continuing this thread, we now see Mushkilla lend his signature baritone vocals to an irresistible slice of jazz-sampling hip-hop, courtesy of longtime producers Lavonz and GLOCKTA.

One to be enjoyed in black and white, with a vogue cigarette and glass of pinot noir, this one is real good fun. Mush’s razor-sharp wit and lyrical ability are on full display, demonstrating why he’s won praise from the likes of Complex, Jamz Supernova, Mixmag, Tom Ravenscroft & Dummy Mag. C’est La Vie, G.
