London based label XVI Records continue their quest to bring sounds from the void, and are proud to present the first beat tape from MossGatherer, an artist involved in the label since its inception - yet standing silently in the background, until now.

It’s understood that “a rolling stone gathers no moss”...So what happens then, when a stone stops rolling? Spawning from the darkest spaces, the spores start to spread, and the moss begins to gather - drawing in energy from its surroundings, creating an eerie, surreal reality for itself to exist within.

Six cuts of dark, dubby sonics lie within. Particles drift through a deeply saturated haze, pausing in moments of twilight-induced tranquility before vanishing into the mist from whence they came.
The EP was inspired by winter wanderings through the deep forest at a pace which is entirely your own.
